Undoubtedly, Oscar de la Renta is one of the  greatest worldwide fashion designer. His name, synonymous of style, elegance and good taste, counts with a high standing in the most select circles of the haute couture.

Besides of his haute couture line and his ready-to-wear (ready to wear or Prêt à porter), Oscar de la Renta has his own accessories collection that includes handbags, belts and shoes and a line of fragances for men and woman, wedding dresses ans skin suits.

Oscar de la Renta`s empire began to raise in 1965 when he founded his company. And although his primary interest was not fashion directly but painting that studied in Madrid, very soon he understood that had a talent to show the world. His beginnings in this industry are also in Spain, where he worked with Balenciaga; later on Antonio Castillo hired him as couture assistant of Lanvin home in Paris. His name was already making echo in the big halls of the great fashion houses and from France traveled to New York where worked as helper of the Elizabeth Arden`s firm. It was in New York precisely where he created his empire at 65`s, that same year he showed his first clothes line to the public. 
 
In 2001 Oscar de la Renta explored in the World of accessories by launching the lines of foot, bags and belts.
